USS Callister: Into Infinity

You poke your head out again, I’ll fucking pop it off of you!

This was a tough one and no mistake. And even then it’s pretty borderline. And you could argue it has nothing to do with the actual show. We’ve had a choppy start, to say the least.

The biggest problem we’ve got here is that USS Callister: Into Infinity is a sequel. And not a sequel that involves a ton of new characters and environments. And the narrative is picked up exactly where it left off. With Jesse Plemons a dead incel weirdo genius and our troupe of digitally generated heroes trapped inside a colossal sandox open-world video game.

The game being Infinity, created by Callister – two logos that appear so prominently in the programme as to be of no use to us here. In fact, there’s a call back to Robert Daly’s penchant for Raiman chocolate milk, but we’ve already done that. There’s even a bit where Saint Juniper’s hospital is mentioned. So the slimmest of pickings it is. In fact, there’s not really anything concrete that we can use at all.

‘So what on Earth is this, then?’ I hear you ask. To put it bluntly, it’s a direct replication of a t shirt a character is wearing. That’s it. The character being Pixie Bunkin played by the solo-monikered Iolanthe. She’s an Aussie gamer who nearly kills Captain Cole and Nate multiple times at the beginning of the show. I know what you’re thinking. It’s a bit far fetched for any Australian person to be wearing anything with ‘FUCK YEAH!’ emblazoned on it, but here we are.

Presumably the garment is model’s own, but I’ve done extensive research and cannot find it anywhere else on the internet. Turns out there are millions of t shirts that say ‘FUCK YEAH!’ on them.

And now here’s another.
