Bobby sues mum and dad for insufficient attention, leading to lack of confidence, leading to damages against earnings. Right. And we’re Ok…the firm’s Ok with that ethically? Yep. Sure. Mmm hmm.
I’ve been wanting to do this one for a while now but it’s been quite difficult as the obvious starting point would be the Grain. If you don’t know, the Grain is a system that gets implanted just below your right ear that records your entire waking moment and makes it available for playback. Sounds awesome, right? Given that the vast majority of any normal person’s life is a cacophony of horrifying embarrassment, no, actually it does not sound awesome. If you watch the show, you’ll be in 100% agreement with me. Either way, I took the Grain off the table, due to its similarity with Z-Eyes and the Symphatic Diagnoser.
So where to go? The answer is the law firm that Liam works for. The biggest problem with that is pretty simple – nobody mentions it by name and nobody on the internet knows what it’s called. What’s strange is that it’s visually represented in the boardroom where Liam endures his appraisal, though rather than featuring any legitimate branding beyond the strange, blocky IFFI-esque thing you see here, the words underneath the symbol say ‘case wins this year 348’. What *is* visible (but only just) is the word ‘ASSOCIATES’ under the block-y symbol on the side of a building when Liam gets a taxi.
With all that info in mind, I’ve taken a bit of artistic license and gone a bit more trad with it by including partner names within the logo. Where are the partners, you say? They’re the three people that are in attendance for Liam’s appraisal, namely Robbie Carrion, Leah Collings and Max Harper. Whether they are the actual partners of the organisation I don’t really know.
And yes, the blocks do look a little bit like the White Bear glyph thing. But they’re not and I don’t truthfully know what they’re meant to represent. Ah well.
