Given the popularity and endless critical acclaim of Schitt’s Creek generally, I’m amazed something like this hasn’t already happened. I won’t go on about the plots and what have you, but the basis of the programme is a rich family losing all their money and having to slum it running a shit motel in a shit town in Canada that they own. The wealth of the family was accrued by the company Rose Video and you can find tons and tons of designs based around that, as well as the Rosebud Motel, Café Tropical and more. Yet Alexis Rose Talent remains untouched, somehow.

Until now, obviously. And you could argue that the reason for that is that it kind of only appears in one line of the show, when Alexis performs a hideous (and presumably definitive) version of her song ‘A Little Bit Alexis‘ in order to get cast in a role in Cabaret. However, this is discounting the awesome, depressing power of personal detail-thieving, child-grooming platform TikTok. Within the Chinese walls of which teenage magpies and middle-aged narcissists alike have lip-synced their own version of the song. An event that proved so popular, it actually got an official release in 2019.

Anyway, Alexis Rose Talent. I’ve struggled before with this type of thing, but that was mainly because of Britishness. We’re high end North America now, so the gloves are off. So this one is loosely based on an agency that has offices in Los Angeles, New York and London, amongst others. We’ve got some of the footwork from there and also a line drawing of a rose going on. Full and breast pocket versions for you to peruse. I would presume the character would take great joy in knowing that acronym spells the word ‘ART’, as well.
