Red Dolphin Kebab Bar

We are 90% certain he was an anti terrorist police officer because they’ve gone all mental. You should see them just trying to tie their shoelaces without shooting the fuck out of everything.
I used to love a kebab. I haven’t had a proper one since 2001. I have to rely on this nowadays. And rely on it I certainly do. At every available opportunity. Unashamedly. Often in the daytime. Less eyelids and foreskins in my version though, so I count that as a win.
Now, this is niche beyond niche. I’ve created many logos that have appeared in a show for a matter of seconds, but usually they’re visually represented in some way. Flashes of logos skewed at an angle and so forth. However, this one is a little bit different. The Red Dolphin Kebab Bar is only mentioned in Nathan Barley on a police noticeboard. You know one of those yellow ‘we are appealing for winesses’ signs? Not only that, but the whole point of that sign is its brevity – the last line of the sign mocks the type of people that would pause the DVD to read the sign. Worry not, you don’t have to be a saddo like that, as the whole series is on YouTube.
The inspiration for the logo comes from a fairly obvious place. Back at the turn of the century, there weren’t any global kebab house brands, that’s for sure. They were unapologetically local, independent and rough as fuck.
I would assume those ones to still be the go-to places now but I’ve been out of the game for too long, so who knows?!
